I accidentally bought an extra bottle of liquid glucose and have been looking up recipes with liquid glucose in it in my effort to use up my surplus. Stumbled upon a Youtube video here showing how to make handmade pashmak and I knew I had to try it immediately.
My first attempt was fairly successful. A fair few strands broke in the process but I just picked them out at the end and saved the beautiful fluffy end product. Popped it on some frozen peach mousse and that was that.
Looks like I won’t be spending 13 dollars on a bag of this at David Jones when I made it at home for less than a dollar.
