Ever since 2009 when I first visited Bright in the Northeast region of Victoria, I have made it a point to return every autumn to see the autumn leaves fall. This year was no exception and we were not disappointed.
My favourite tree was the one that I’m standing next to in the bottom right picture – the colors of the leaves were kinda pastel-ly rather than brilliant and somehow I found that color palette extremely appealing.
Had brunch at Ginger Baker, whose owners had just moved up from Melbourne to open up the cafe. It was very pretty and definitely had the Melbourne vibe to it – what with their mason jar lamps (forgot to take a photo of it) and the general items on the menu. It was a lovely end to a cold, brisk early morning walk around Bright.
I hope to return every year indefinitely.
