I made the huge mistake of purchasing a 2kg bag of plain flour instead of self raising and it is now my mission in life to pursue as many plain flour recipes as possible to deplete my plain flour surplus.
Decided to start off with chocolate tart because I am trying to deplete my chocolate surplus too!

Looks perfect Evelyn. I came across the same problem with too many Easter eggs. I’ve still got a huge piece left that I am saving for a raspberry chocolate fondant.
This was a little while ago, so you may have finished the huge bag of flour, haha, but I almost always use just plain flour, and if a recipe says self-raising, I just add 1 teaspoon baking powder to every cup of flour. Though this recipe will certainly appeal to some of my gluten free friends. š
Lol thanks for the tip! I actually know about it but the problem is there is a jar full of baking powder or bicarbonate soda (not sure which!!) in my house and because I’m not sure which it is I have not been brave enough to put it into my flour! The bag is almost gone now though so it’s okay š
